#MySundaySnapshot – Lights Will Guide You Home 50/52 (2019)

I don’t know about you but we’ve been stuck inside for most of this week. The weather has been wild and given that it’s dark by four o’clock, we’ve stayed warm and dry indoors thus the lack of photos taken recently.

After what I can only describe as a manically busy and extremely exhausting week, I took great pleasure in turning off my alarm and enjoying a rather late and lazy Saturday morning. After eventually getting up and getting the house into order, we settled in the sitting room with board games and The Muppet Christmas Carol.

I love winter weekends! It’s all about enjoying food, drinks, games, movies and each other’s company without the interruptions of the regular weekday routines.

It’s funny really, a few years back I’d have spent my Saturday night wondering what to wear and whether I should book a taxi in advance. I’d then waste money propping up the local bars whilst feeling self-conscious and wishing I’d never gone out in the first place.

Although I quite like the odd dance and a few drinks, the idea of going out just doesn’t entice me at all. I’d much rather stay at home and have fun with my family.
