Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
Despite the freezing weather and the devastation that Storm Arwen left in its wake, my husband opted to dodge the fallen trees, trampolines, traffic lights, and general debris in order to take his daily jog earlier this morning. Whilst out on his run he took some impressive images of the estuary looking rather bright and beautiful and far calmer in comparison to this time twenty-four hours ago.
Though the storm seems to have done its worst, my poor Mum has been left in the dark ages with no power, no telephone line, and as of this evening, no water. Here’s hoping that United Utilities and North West Electricity pull their fingers out and get things sorted sooner rather than later.
I do so hope that you made it through Storm Arwen with as little damage and inconvenience as possible – Happy Sunday!
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

So sorry to hear that Storm Arwen hit you all so hard, especially your poor mum! I hope her power and water are restored very soon.
As a fellow runner, I don’t blame your husband at all for getting out and running. The storm here was fairly tame for us compared to you, but we did end up running in a blizzard!
Sorry that so much damage was done, I think we got off lightly here in the Midlands, but we did have snow and wind. It’s all calm here today too, although very cold and frosty, not all the snow has gone. I hope your Mum gets her electricity back soon x
Me too it’s been two days now and she’s got no water or phone line either
What a beautiful view.
I hope your mum has everything back on now. That is no fun without any power and water. We lost a couple of fence panels and feel like we got off quite lightly x
Oh gosh sounds tough going, I hope your mum gets her electricity back soon x #mysundaysnapshot
She’s literally just had it switched back on after two days!
