It’s been over a week since my darling Dad passed away yet still, it doesn’t feel real. This afternoon my Mum and I went to the funeral directors to visit him one last time, it was incredibly sad and very surreal whilst also rather comforting.
My Dad was a man of the World, his life may well have been cut short by cancer but what a life he had! Throughout his life, he travelled here, there and everywhere at least two or three times a year with his Canon camera in his hand and his zoom lens at the ready…
Dad’s eyes may now be closed but my goodness me, they have seen so much during his lifetime and to celebrate this I thought I ought to share one of his many, many snaps which he shot whilst on his travels to Africa.
Thanks for reading myĀ #MySundaySnapshotĀ post, I look forward to catching up and sharing yourĀ #MySundaySnapshotĀ pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

I’m so sorry to read about your Dad. I hope it as at least a small comfort that he lived such a full life. That is a beautiful photo and not a sight many of us will see in our lifetimes.
