“I heard it in the wind last night
It sounded like applause Did you get a round resounding for you Way up here Seems like many dim years ago Since I heard that face to face So seen you face to face Though tonight I can feel you here”Joni Mitchell – For The Roses
I selected this song and this snapshot in memory of my Dad
Dad, it’s been three years since you ‘popped out’ for a pint in the sky. You are so missed.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

A beautiful tribute!

So sorry to read this. It must be so hard for you all.
I miss my dad as well though he died back in 1981, I feel he missed so much of what happened in my life. Mum lasted over 20 years longer but oddly enough I don’t miss her as much. Sorry for your loss
But you can feel them, at times. It’s quite comforting when it happens. Thinking of you, xx
