Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
Despite the sniffly noses and hacking coughs, we got ourselves out to the local Dickensian Festival this weekend.
Having finally found a parking space we tootled into town to take a look at the local stalls and shops. Paul and I had a mulled wine or two whilst the kids enjoyed the fairground rides and attractions which were dotted around the town.
Once we’d seen everything we felt we ought to visit, we finished up by taking the kids to visit Santa. They were each given a little gift and had the chance to share their wish lists for Christmas with the big man before we called it a day and made our way to the car to extend our ‘afternoon out’ to a little evening entertainment with Elsa and Anna (aka a trip to the cinema to watch Frozen 2).
The film wasn’t exactly what I’d expected, though both E and J seemed to enjoy it (and their extra-large hotdogs and popcorn) so that’s all that matters!
We’re skipping swimming lessons this week as E has a party to attend, that and with her snotty nose and croaky voice, I thought it best to pass on the pool. What with roller discos, traditional festivals, cinema trips and birthday parties these kids of ours have better weekends than we do!
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Sounds like a fun day out. Great photo & did you love Frozen? Xx
Evs LOVED frozen 2 🙂
It sounds like you all had a really good day out. I’m amazed by how many people have seen Frozen 2 already! I suspect I won’t actually get to see it, as my daughter is 13 now. She was 7 when the original came out!
Aww it’s worth a watch – it’s no Toy Story 2 but it’s got a good soundtrack .
That’s sounds like a great weekend! Hope the sniffles have gone soon
Thanks me too – it’s that time of year .
That phot is mildly terrifying!! I’m not sure whether I’m disappointed or relieved that my boys aren’t interested in the slightest in Frozen and that my little lady is too little still! Hope you all feel a bit better this week
Thanks me too as I’ve had enough of all the bugs
Ohh! How lovely. It sounds like a fab day! I hope you all feel better soon x
Sounds like a different sort of day – sorry for late comment

That’s one scary looking clown!! I’ve noticed a few on fairground rides this Christmas, notably at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland! #MySundaySnapshot
