“Do you ever feel like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again? Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Like a house of cards, one blow from cavin’ in? Do you ever feel already buried deep? Six feet under screams, but no one seems to hear a thing Do you know that there’s still a chance for you? ‘Cause there’s a spark in you”Katy Perry – Firework

Nice shot and beautiful lyrics. Yeah, I know that I am a firework, and I’m going to explode into something beautiful.
That’s a great photo and I love Katy Perry’s Firework! I used to sing it with my daughter in the bath when she was little. She’s 17 now and it still brings me happy memories.
I remember Katy Perry’s Firework as one of Star’s favourite songs when she was little. I never saw any fireworks this year, although I did hear a lot. That’s a great photo, thanks for sharing.
There were not many fireworks let off around here this year, the cost of living is getting to people
Great pic! Very festive!
I like this poem. Unhappily i often feel more like a piece of plastic in the wind (a metaphor that could not be more reflective of our times) than as a spark.
Lovely photo. Sometimes it’s neat to see song lyrics written out. I like that song but I didn’t know those lyrics. 🙂
