Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
With just under a week to go until the half-term holidays, autumn is most definitely here. The leaves are falling from the trees, there’s a real chill in the air, the dark nights are drawing in and, there’s a glorious golden glow in the evening sky.
The kids are getting accustomed to spending the evenings snuggled on the sofa catching up on the latest episodes of Ghosts, Goosebumps, and other spooky shows. I have, meanwhile, spent the afternoon sewing, reading, and pitting and prepping dates ready for a batch of sticky toffee pudding, it’ll be all about the pumpkins and treacle toffee before we know it.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Sounds like some lovely traditions!
What a beautiful photo. It sounds like you are all really embracing autumn. I resist it every step of the way, because I hate the cold and the dark and being shut inside with the windows and doors closed. I try to pretend it’s not happening!
It sounds like you and your kids are making the most of this cozy time. Enjoy your upcoming half-term holidays filled with pumpkins and treacle toffee!
It really feels like autumn now! I am loving the evenings with the darker nights and pretty sunsets. Gorgeous photo. x
