Welcome to this week’s festive-themed #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
It may only be October but signs of Christmas coming are already upon us. It’s not just the aisles in Tesco which are displaying seasonal stuff, Mother Nature has also got her Christmas colours at the ready as earlier this week I came across this beautiful holly.
I myself have made long lists of ideas for family gifts and the presents are already beginning to pile on top of my wardrobe. I’m yet to complete buying gifts for the kids, then I can concentrate on buying for family and friends closer to Christmas.
With two months yet to go till Christmas, Halloween is just around the corner, following which we will be out watching firework displays whilst chomping on treacle toffee by the bonfire. I love this time of year, I love the colours, the smells and the feelings which the festive season stirs.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

It is such a nice time of year. I’m with you on the colours and smells x
It sure is a lovely time
Wow, that is a very seasonal photo! I must say I haven’t given Christmas a single thought yet – apart from thinking about my daughter being in panto. I guess I will start thinking about it in a couple of weeks.
I am an early bird lol
Ahh this is very Christmassy! We’ve recently moved to France and the shops haven’t got Christmas stuff in yet which is quite nice as I do think it starts too early in the uk
Yes we do like to jump ahead in the uk
Beautiful photo, don’t blink or Christmas will be upon us!
Exactly time flies
Ohh! That looks so festive! I love the signs of Christmas appearing! I have just bought the first Christmas present today. Eek!
Yay me too
I think the birds are going to feast on those! #MySundaySnapshot
Most likely x
The holly in our garden is out too. My mum used to say it was a sign of a tough winter to come. I hope not. Thanks for hosting.
You’re welcome – I hope it’s a white winter this year 🙂
