Welcome to this week’s rather red themed #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
This time next week it’ll be the half-term holidays, Although I have nothing planned as of yet (other than to rest and to relax) I cannot wait for a few days downtime.
I’ve spent the past few weeks worrying myself silly over things far out of my control. As a result, I’m now utterly exhausted and a rather run-down, hence I’ve stocked up on tissues and am currently sporting a Rudolf red nose and an air hostess-style nasal voice.
To add to my misery, I’m also suffering from a stiff shoulder (thanks to sleeping on a god-awful mattress) and I finished the week by smashing a tooth and burning my fingers with a glue gun. Honestly, I’m beginning to wonder whether my life is being filmed like some sort of tragic version of The Truman Show!
It’s laughable really, well if I didn’t laugh I’d cry and wheres the fun in that? There are much bigger issues in life than my anxiety and accident-induced ailments.
When the World begins to look bleak, look out for the rainbows, or in this case the mahoosive splash of red which I happened to walk past the other week whilst enjoying a stroll through the park.

You colour my soul
Paint me red in places once filled with gold
You, colour me
You colour my soul
Make me dream of things I never did once before”

That is one beautiful splash of colour and one needed at the minute amongst all the dull grey of a dreich day. Sending lots of love & hugs. Here if you want to talk. Xx
Thanks so much –
Nothing much to talk about really, just over thinking as usual and wearing myself out.
So sorry to hear you’ve been going through a tough time lately. I hope things pick up for you soon.
The flowers are beautiful. I’m already missing colour in the garden, although we’ve got a little bit left.
Thanks Sarah- I’m getting there … just keep smiling and marching on 🙂
I’m pretty sure that you capturing such a beautiful splash of colourful flowers mean that your life is going to take a turn for the better. Take care of yourself, big hugs x
