Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
Whilst I’m aware that autumn has only just begun, I can’t help but spot signs of the seasons shifting and I saw just this earlier this week when I happened to come across some rather glistening, green holly whilst out on a walk.
My husband was a huge fan of the hugely popular ‘Game of Thrones’ television series and I couldn’t help but comment that “winter is coming” as we spotted this holly. Needless to say, he wasn’t impressed as I flat out refused to watch even a single episode of the show despite his love for the series.
Sweet lady, you will see him again
Wreath of holly
Sweet lady, you will be together again
For the oak and holly trees
Honor the past
And the year yet to be”

That is definitely a very wintry sight! Neither my husband nor I has ever watched a single episode of Game of Thrones either. The idea of it didn’t appeal to me at all.
I’ve been tempted but I’ve never watched Game of Thrones either. I do like holly though and it’s been so miserable today that it definitely feels like winter is coming.
Yep it sure does x
Not me either, no Game of Thrones! Beautiful words and photo.
