#MySundaySnapshot – The Pumpkin Patch 40/52 (2020)

And so here we are in October already, time sure flies though I can’t say that I’ve been having all that much fun. Though I usually adore the autumn months, things are entirely different this year and nothing really feels as it should.

I really feel for the kids as they would usually be getting ready for the likes of Halloween and Bonfire Night but sadly we will be unable to celebrate all that much this year. Don’t get me wrong, we will try our best but I know fine well it won’t be the same and that saddens me.

Still, the kids are blessed to have Grandparents who live upon a farm, thus they are still able to get out and about to select and to pick their own pumpkins, which we will carve and place in the window.

I very much doubt come Halloween that we will have any trick or treaters, I certainly won’t be taking the kids out trick or treating this year as it’s just not safe. I will however try to organise some crafts, games and activities to keep the kids entertained and to celebrate the ocassion as best as we are able to.
