Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
This time last week I was sunning myself whilst watching bagpipers as they paraded proudly through the streets of Manchester City Centre. I may be a country girl by location but I’m a city girl at heart – nothing quite beats the busy, bustling atmosphere of the city.
Though I don’t miss rush hour nor the endless trams, taxis, buses, and trucks that I was forever queueing behind on various one-way systems, I miss the lifestyle, and I miss the hive of activity that is life in a city.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

I never would have guessed you were a city girl at heart! I do like to visit cities, but I’m always happy to get home to my village close to a much smaller town.
I live in a city but rarely visit the centre any more. I used to love it, and it changes every time I go, but it’s not much fun to navigate in a wheelchair.
I do like a trip to a big town or city but I am always glad to get home where it’s a lot quieter. x
Yes, we are always ‘visiting’ another life….
