It may well be only mid-September but as far as I am concerned, autumn has officially arrived. There is a faint smell of chimney smoke wafting in the air, the dark nights are drawing in, and the kids got to choose their pumpkins from the farm this week thus it MUST be autumn.

The nights are definitely drawing in, but we’ve still had some temperatures up to 24 over the last week, so I’m not sure if autumn is quite here yet. I’m happy to hang onto summer for a bit longer!
I too love summer but up north it feels and even smells like autumn
the years go by faster and faster. it’s already autumn. Yes, it’s true that the light has changed, but it’s still very hot and humid in Paris, almost tropical. And in the space of a week, everything can change very quickly…

I guess feels more Autumnal today than it has done of late. We need to put our pool away! I’ve not thought of pumpkins yet though, but I’m looking forward to Blogtober.
