We are now midway through September and the nights are drawing in far earlier, as autumn has well and truly arrived.
I’m definitely a fan of the ‘ber’ months, it may only be September but I can’t help starting to feel a little festive. The seasonal stock has now been placed on the shop shelves and I’ve already devoured far too many tins of Treeselets for my liking. I really need to listen to the scales and to step away from the snacks!
After a busy day, it’s all too easy to sofa surf with a slice of cake or a bag of crisps. Comfort food somehow seems to creep into our cupboards and resistance is futile. Speaking of which, I spent last night catching up with a good friend, a bottle of fizz and yet another tub of Treeselets. Whilst on my way through the Whicham Valley, I stopped to take this stunning shot of the sunset.
The area in which we live may not be rolling in opportunities, we may be miles from civilisation of a city standard, but my god the scenery is something else!
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

The colours in the sky have been magnificent recently. This is particularly gorgeous. Love the violet shades xx
Thanks Susan x
The sunrises and sunsets at this time of year are particularly spectacular. How lovely to see them across such a huge landscape.
They sure are x
Look at the colour of that sky!!!
It’s awesome isn’t it x
Beautiful colours, I rarely see a sunrise or sunset unless it’s behind a ton of houses.
