Welcome to this week’s edition of the #MySundaySnapshot blog series, a blog-linky simply to share snapshots that you are more than welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
Over the past few weeks, I have shared a number of snaps, which were taken whilst we were spending time away with family. As our trip to Alton Towers was probably the highlight of our summer, I decided to post a final picture of our view from the castle, back on that sunny day in August.
The temperature has certainly dropped since back then as we no longer are basking in the sunshine. Instead, I have spent the past week wrapped up in winter boots and what I can only describe as a wearable duvet!
Whilst I love autumn, I’m not all that keen on the cold nor the wet weather. The clothes dryer and the heating has been in use, the thicker blankets have now been placed upon the beds, and already the fleecy pajamas have made an appearance!
It’s really nice to look back upon what was an incredibly warm but wonderful day filled with happy memories.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Beautiful photo and I must admit the cold, clear, crisp days are my favourite x
🙂
What a beautiful photo. I’m with you, I’m not keen on the cold. Our weather has shifted slightly here, but not too much yet!
I love the cold when I’m warm lol
Enjoy it while you can
Hurrah! I’ve been looking for a photo linky to join for a while. Anyway, yes< i know exactly what you mean. I am trying to deny that summer is ending and that we're heading towards autumn. I hate the fact the tumble dryer has been in use. Your image certainly shows what a sunny day it was. I can appreciate why it would bring back such memories for you. Thanks for hosting #MySundaySnapshot
Welcome to MySundaySnapshot! Looking forward to reading your posts.
Summer has sadly ended a while back and autumn is definitely here now x
Great shot. I’m so glad the sun has reappeared for a couple of days again # mysundaysnapshot
It’s now raining again – so much for the heatwave lol
It’s such a clear photo, what beautiful weather
It was an amazing day .
That’s a lovely photo, we have to keep a hold of the memories of warmer weather. I love how Alton Towers is in the middle of nowhere, my daughter had a friend who lived just a couple of miles away, it was so hard to find her house in the windy country roads. I’m not looking forward to winter. I know I will be spending even more time indoors. I think it’s time to book our holiday for next year.
I adore the area of Alton – I wish we were going away next year but it’s time to get the kitchen in.
That’s a gorgeous image. I have to say, it’s still too warm for me! lol x
I’m frozen already!
I don’t like the colder weather either! I miss the summer already.
