Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
So here we are in September already and isn’t it just typical that the weather is glorious now that the kids have gone back to school. Don’t get me wrong, I love the sunshine but I’d have really liked to have seen a little more of it over the summer months when we were off work/ school.
Having had a busy first week back, we enjoyed a lazy morning followed by icecreams at the beach, a bike ride, time playing at the park, a stroll with the dogs through the newly cut fields, and of course, our obligatory Saturday snack – beef burgers from the ‘van that can’.
Here’s a rather pretty poppy (at least I think it’s a poppy) that I took a sneaky snapshot of just before we fed the ducks earlier today – I love the colours and the sense of wilding within this image.
I hope that you’ve had a good week and that if like me, you’re a parent to a child at school, that their start/ return to school has gone smoothly.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

The poppy and the other flowers look very summery. Most of the summer flowers have gone here now.
I hope the return to school went well. I’ve got one going back tomorrow and one on Tuesday.
It seems early up here this year for school returns
We’ve not actually seen any of this late heatwave here. But the sun is shining today even if it’s not so warm. My kids don’t go back to school until tomorrow. Have a lovely week.
Thanks we will x
