It’s been a big week all in all; I turned forty-something whilst E turned eleven. To celebrate we visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach this weekend and I am very proud to say that J and his Dad finally rode ‘The Big One’. Despite having ridden far scarier, taller, longer, and rougher rides whilst in Florida, E opted out of riding Blackpool’s best ride and we switched grand heights for the Grand National. It was a great day with great weather and the greatest of company.
With a week full of work, birthdays, a realm of friends and family visits, and a weekend in Blackpool, I can safely say I am exhausted –Â I obviously can’t hack the pace now that I’m getting older!
