Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
Should a bee, or worse, a wasp decide to grace me with their presence in the comfort of my home, I’d usually be found hopping around like a woman possessed, desperately attempting to encourage said insect to leave. Despite my irrational fear for back and yellow, furry, buzzy things, I’m quite happy to view bees from a distance whilst outdoors as they do what they do best – enjoying their time buzzing from one flower to another, pollinating nature as they bumble along.
Bees are such fascinating, amazing creatures that we as humans simply couldn’t BEE without… I only wish that people would refrain from swatting them or worse, polluting their food with pesticides. Bees are a symbol of life and sadly they are in danger. They provide us with such wonderful things including of course, their delicious nectar that Pooh Bear would be proud of.
Bee Happy!

What a beautiful photo.
I think on the whole people are a lot more understanding of bees and the need to protect them than they were a few years ago, but they could still do more!
Thanks and indeed
Lovely photo, I do love bees and I’ve never swatted one, or run around like a mad woman. I am a little more wary of wasps but I still stay calm because they tend to leave you alone. The only time I have been stung was when I was a child and I was wearing a bright orange dress (it was the 70s!) and crossing the road. I got stung in my ear!
I’ve been stung eight times … I no longer can stay calm!
