Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
With scorching temperatures UK-wide, I’ve spent much of this week either perfectly positioned under a parasol (with a drink in hand) or taking time out to shelter from the rays in our shady kitchen. It’s been a really odd week and I’ve found myself feeling somewhat overwhelmed at times as everything seems to be changing all at once around me. Paul very kindly picked some flowers to add a little cheer to the kitchen and to my mood thus to avoid being scorched any further by the giant ball of fire in the sky I opted for an indoors snapshot this week.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

I’d sort of missed all the news of the heat wave and then heard about what happened in Portugal and France – what a nightmare. Hope you are all okay! Meanwhile it snowed in Melbourne so that’s pretty crazy here….I keep flowers in my kitchen – any ones with a strong smell – it really lifts my spirits!
Those are beautiful flowers. Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling overwhelmed. I hope it eases for you soon.
beautiful flowers! Our kitchen is always nice and cool too (unless we are cooking of course!) I hope things are okay x
we have been like you staying out of the heat our patios have large awnings over them which do give shade and keep the rooms cooler that with out.. Beautiful flowers you have there
Lovely flowers. I normally love the heat, but now I am really starting to struggle with it.
The heat has been ridiculous! I am so over it, I can’t wait for the rain. What pretty flowers. x
