Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
It’s been three weeks since we bagged up our belongings and left our beloved house to stay with my Mum whilst our kitchen gets underway. It’s been almost a month since we set about our kitchen transformation and though it feels like forever since we began, we are so so almost there – to my great relief I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I spent the majority of today filling our cupboards with pots, pans, plates, saucers, cutlery, and such-like, it sure felt great to be back at home and back to the beach for some much-needed time out.
“Let’s take it back to the beach
Where we were young and carefree
This is how it should be
Said the city don’t feel me
Let’s take it back to the beach
When it was just you and me
Baby, you’re all that I need
Said the city don’t feel”
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

That must be a huge relief that your kitchen is almost finished!
What a beautiful, summery photo.
So great that you were able to get away and take some time to relax. Love the photo and the little poem.

I’m glad the renovation is going so well, I’m loving the photo updates on Instagram. It will definitely be worth it in the end. The beach photo is beautiful, there is nothing nicer than being by the sea.
Indeed, I can’t get enough of the sand between my toes.
