Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
We finally had a taste of normality this week as after almost six months, we took our first trip into town. The kids required fitting for new school shoes, Paul was keen to collect the watch which he left at the jewellers for repair months back and I quite fancied having my Dad’s previous iPhone repaired to pass onto J as an upgrade.
Having ordered and received a deluge of neoprene ‘made-to-fit’ masks, we were all set for our mini-shopping-spree. It was so hot, sticky and humid that once we’d whizzed through the ‘to-do-list’ we took a breather down at the beach.
The kids were relieved to remove their masks and to get some fresh air, though the beach was rather crowded so we opted against strolling along the shore in favour of sitting on a bench and watching the world go by.
Though it was busier in town than I had anticipated, it was great to get out and to enjoy a little time away from home.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Gorgeous beach. Looks like a lovely place to visit. Glad the kids had some time to breath in the air x
It was lovely
You are very brave to venture into town. A little time on the beach is wonderful though and I love your photo.
I felt scared to be honest
Ahh! We have the last of the back to school shopping to do. We’re going tomorrow. You are so lucky to have a beach nearby to take a breather. I think I will be longing for something like that tomorrow. lol x
I bet it was so lovely to get onto the beach after being in town, it’s such an odd feeling being out nearer people
