Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
School/ work has officially finished for the summer thus I should now be resting and relaxing for the summer months. Are we lazing on the lawn under the summer sun? No, it’s far too wet and miserable in the UK for that sort of malarkey (though I’m by no means wishing us forty-plus-degree temperatures such as Europe is currently enduring).
I wish I could ‘kick back for the summer’ but I’m far too stressed writing endless lists for packing whilst budgeting my backside off and desperately sourcing knee-length shorts and specific suntan lotions to avoid any allergic reactions.
I’d love to tell you that we are all excited and raring to travel but that’s not quite the case (pardon the pun) as both Paul and I are incredibly anxious about the entire thing as we just want everything to run smoothly for the kids. Here’s hoping that come September we will look back on this time fondly and have some amazing memories to cherish.
Despite the good old British weather I’ve managed to snap a shot of our rather beautiful flowers which we’ve currently got growing in various pots around our decking. Here’s hoping that I can share pictures of palm trees and such-like at some point this summer but for now I’ll stick to keeping cool (and collected?).
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Lovly flower pic – tr————————–avel can be a stress but I’m sure it will be wonderful! Enjoy!
I’m looking forward to seeing your pictures of palm trees. In the meantime, I’m sure you’ll have plenty of adventures to keep you busy.
Good luck with all the packing and organisation! I’m sure it will all be worth it in the end. I can totally relate as I always get stressed when we go away. Luckily for me, my husband is very calm about such things, so that gives us a bit of balance.
I hope you have a wonderful summer.
Good luck with preparing for your trip! I hope it all goes well and you have the best time. x
