Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
It’s official, I’ve completed my first week in my new role and whilst it’s been a challenge, I’ve enjoyed every moment. Working from home isn’t for everyone but it is most definitely for me, I love being able to use my own bathroom, my own kitchen, and to be in comfort with my personal surroundings rather than having to ‘people’ each day.
The kids are currently enjoying their summer holiday and though we aren’t venturing abroad this year, we’ve got a few days out planned and at present the kids are entertaining themselves daily with various social activities. Paul’s been busy either working or carrying out various DIY tasks from the never-ending to-do list. He’s spent this weekend painting J’s wardrobe doors a brilliant purple to tie in with his purple, celtic-themed bedroom and has since had his head in his phone ordering oak doors for each of the rooms upstairs.
Things suddenly feel a whole lot better, life seems fresh and bright (thus the title of this post). I’m not sure whether it’s the sunnier weather or the fact that everything’s changing and we’re somehow ticking off the aforementioned to-do list with gusto, either way, I’m making the most of the positive vibes thus opted to share a picture that I snapped earlier this week of these perfect pink petals on this fabulous flower to reflect the sunny disposition that I can only hope continues as such.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Sounds amazing! So glad you’re loving the new job and home life.
I am so happy things are going so well for you. Imo, working from home is the best! And J’s Celtic themed bedroom sounds amazing. I’m very partial to purple myself.
