Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
This week marked the end of an era as Paul and I watched on as E completed her final week at Primary School. Talk about heart-wrenching, it was soul-crushing watching our beautiful little lady as she walked out of those doors all grown up on that final day. The staff made an arch and cheered the children as they left, it was such a lovely but tear-jerking event to witness.
We celebrated in style at what was the Year Six Leavers Party, E dressed to the nines in her beautiful ball gown accessorised with her beloved goth boots, netted black gloves, and punk-style jewellery to add her unique flair to the occasion. The last month or two has been somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster and not just as E’s growing up and moving on to secondary school but J will also be in his final year sitting his GCSEs (one of which he’s already sat!), and I’m just about to start my new role working from home for an online company. It’s all change for the entire household and whilst it’s slightly overwhelming, it’s also rather nerve-wracking and of course, exciting.
Here’s to a bright future, hopefully as bright as the blooms in this weeks snapshot.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Wow! That is certainly an emotional time for you all. I do remember all the emotion of our kids leaving primary school. Now my youngest child has done her A Levels and I will be watching her go to university in a couple of months. I’m not ready for that!
That’s such a bittersweet time! Wishing your family all the best as you navigate these exciting changes!
So many changes, but it all sounds positive. Beautiful photo! You and I do like our flowers, don’t we?
Oh, it’s all exciting! Babies becoming adults. It’s a joy. THat moment when they finish school is one of the most wonderful moments in parenting – seeing the world become their oyster, when anything is possible…embrace it. So lovely. Tho we do miss out little ones!! THat’s a sweet and special time. Good luck in the new job! How fun.
