Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
We are currently in the midst of the madness that is the fortnight before the summer holidays. Though you’d expect us to wind down for the summer, it seems otherwise as both J & E have an array of appointments, activities and events to attend and participate in before the big break finally arrives thus my diary is currently stuffed full of schedules, notes, and lists in order to keep us all organised.
Thankfully we’ve had a relaxing Saturday walking the dogs through the fields, sharing some beers, burgers and banter then watering my in-law’s flowers (which is where I took this snazzy snapshot) before heading home to soak in the hot tub for a few hours. I’m making the most of the peace prior to the chaos commencing – I’m quite literally counting the days (and perhaps even the hours) until we can finally kick back, relax and put our feet up for a week or two.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Enjoy your break! It’s a nice feeling…
The last few weeks of school are definitely always busy. No wonder you’re looking forward to the break!
My kids have done their exams, so school was over for us a couple of weeks ago. I kind of forget that other people are still at school!
Sounds like a great way to spend the Saturday during such busy days. Beautiful photo!

I hope you enjoy yourself over the hols. The watering part I sympathise with as I have to do this everyday ATM as I have a greenhouse and lots of pots that need caring for. My kids are grown up now so I don’t have the same worries I once had though even then I seem to have been at work all the time.
It is so busy at this time of year isn’t it. My youngest has 2 trips and sports day this week. lol It sounds like you had a lovely relaxed Saturday. Gorgeous photo. x
