Welcome to another week of the #MySundaySnapshot blog series, a photo-based blog-linky which you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
With less than a fortnight to go until the summer holidays arrive, I am beginning to wind down ready for the ‘big break’. We have so much planned over the summer that already I’ve started putting lists together of things that I need to do, need to buy, need to sort and whilst it’s all very well getting organised, I really need to stop stressing so much about the small things and to focus on the bigger picture – it’s time for less lists and more living!
Whilst we are planning to go away for a couple of breaks over the summer, I’m also quite looking forward to being able to spend some time at home without such a rigid routine. We have a few things that I’d like to get done in the garden, that and I’d like to spend a few days out and about exploring the Lakes with the little ones.
It’s all very exciting putting together travel plans, in reality though, you can travel for hours in the car or fly to wherever you fancy, yet there’s still no place quite like home.
“Everybody’s coming home for summer
Battlefields a thousand miles away
What a feeling, taste the freedom
There with every bite
Finally, we’re coming home”

What a beautiful view! I can imagine why you would be very happy living there. It’s a funny summer for me as one of my kids has left school, so is already home. Then one finishes next week and the last one finishes the week after.
Ah a staggered summer … that must be odd
Itβs always nice to go home after a lovely adventure
It sure is x
I wish I had some lovely views, but at least I have my trees (Well, they are not my trees as they grow beyond my garden, but they are the best view I have. Planning for the summer is always hard, I try not to plan too much and go with the flow. We have three birthdays and a holiday to deal with. I think lots of time at home alone inbetween will be nice. Thanks for hosting x
Thanks. We have two birthdays so very similar hehe
Hope you have a great summer break. We love exploring the lakes
Thanks – the Lakes is a beautiful place x

A gorgeous view to call home. Roll on the holidays here too, I think! π
Thanks for hosting. Catching up from last week.
It sure is – thanks for the big catch up lovely to have you on board.
As a work-at-home mum I’m afraid I don’t look forward to the summer holidays – it’s more stress, more expense and less time to get everything done in! #MySundaySnapshot
I know but itβs my time off x
