There’s something rather admirable about foxgloves with their bright, bold and colourful exteriors yet these fantastic fuchsia flowers are toxic to the touch, poisonous even.
“With a taste of your lips, I’m on a ride
You’re toxic, I’m slippin’ under
With a taste of a poison paradise
I’m addicted to you
Don’t you know that you’re toxic?”

I didn’t know they were toxic! So pretty! (There’s a story in there somewhere…)
I make sure to wear gloves when I am handling foxgloves. Fantastic photo!

What a fabulous photo of the foxgloves. I love that you’ve captured them in the background too.
They are beautiful flowers. I didn’t know they were toxic either. x
