Welcome to another week of #MySundaySnapshot, a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating natural beauty. Click here for further information and guidelines on this linky if you wish to participate.

It’s been a huge week for our household as our eldest turned sweet sixteen. Though he was spoilt rotten with gifts and cards galore, the GCSE gods also blessed him with the longest exam of all – English Literature, which he spent the first four hours or so working through before he was finally able to come home and celebrate in style with home-cooked steak and cake.
We continued the celebrations this weekend and enjoyed the day out bowling, playing golf, and taking a gander at the garden centre. After almost a month of glorious sunshine, the weather unfortunately did a U-turn and we were forced to motor down with our windwipers on ‘monsoon mode’. Still, we had a fantastic time, and I’m so glad that we opted for indoor entertainment.
It may no longer be sunshine weather outside but I at least managed to capture a rather stunning picture of a sunflower whilst perusing the plants.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments on this post.

Belated wishes to your son — and that sunflower is a beauty!
Happy birthday to him! It’s very unlucky to have a GCSE on your birthday, but it sounds like you all made up for it afterwards.
I think I missed the natural beauty part but noted now! Lovely sunflowers
