Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
I do so love a thunderstorm, especially the buildup to the event as the sky subtly shifts in shade, hue and tone. Static charges the atmosphere as a sudden smell of chalk and sea salt lingers in the air.
Shade and light shift dramatically painting the sky a perplexing purple, a thunderstorm is natures artist, natures paintbox and natures very own firework display only without the entrance fee.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Beautiful photo. I enjoy a thunderstorm too and my eldest absolutely loves them. He charges round the house and opens all the windows!
That made me smile!!

Oh you made me long for a thunderstorm. We don’t get them here, and I miss them so much!

You don’t get them?! Wow
Sadly California does not get thunderstorms. It is an extremely rare occasion.

I love thunderstorms too, but not the lead up to them, I can always tell when one is on the way as I get a pressure headache. Then as soon as it starts, my head gets better. I love the sky in the photo, amazing.
Oh no ! Bless you
