Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
I couldn’t tell you how long we’ve been in lockdown now, I’ve lost count of the weeks nevermind the days! I am, however, far happier to remain in lockdown than to risk further lives being lost by relaxing the rules. Don’t get me wrong, I too am fed up of being stuck within the same four walls but I’d much rather remain as we are than rush ahead with getting back to business.
Let’s make the most of this time, let’s enjoy the little things before the big things block our vision. Take the time to read a book, to paint a picture, to watch a film, to snap some shots, to piece together a jigsaw, to listen to music, to play an instrument, take a walk, to write a journal, to write a story, or to write a blog. Invest in yourself, invest in your family, and invest in the time which you and I have been given.
Now is the time to hit the pause button, to look around you, and to soak in the sights… there is so much to be grateful for and it’s right there in front of you: your family and your friends (both of which you now have the time to chat to via video-chat or over the telephone), your household, your pets, your home, your surroundings…
Life may seem like an endless journey but believe me, it’s incredibly short so make the most of it, grab it by the short and curlies, and live for the moment.
Stay safe, keep smiling and I hope you have a lovely Sunday x

What a beautiful sight. I think you are right, it’s best not to rush it & a pause button is nice xx
What a beautiful photo. I agree with you! This time may be strange and frustrating, but I’m happy to stay like this for longer until the numbers of deaths are right down and it is safe to gradually get back to normal.
Exactly
Very wise words.
What a gorgeous view x
Thanks Kim x
