Life is so full on at present – my diary is stuffed full of appointments, activities and lengthy lists of ‘things to do’. Don’t get me wrong, I like to keep busy but there’s a difference between being busy and finding yourself feeling overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff you need or are expected to do. It’s at times like these when I appreciate a moment to stand in the sunshine, to take a minute or two to take stock, to take a breather and to clear my mind.
Here’s a snapshot taken a few weeks back which I emotionally relate to. The sun was peeping through the trees, its golden glow beamed from behind the tangle of branches.
Telling me that I’ll go far
Sunshine through my window
That’s what you are
My shining star
Sunshine
Making me feel I’m on top of the world
Telling me that I’ll go far
Sunshine
My star, my star..”
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.
