Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing blog linky. Click here for further information and guidelines if you would like to take part.
Now that the clocks have sprung forward, we have finally been blessed with lighter nights. The daffodils are in bloom, the sun has been shining, and Easter is just around the corner. Though spring has sprung and the temperatures have increased slightly, it’s still bitterly cold during the evening, especially so whilst standing outside searching for possible auroras in the sky…
Ever since we were graced with the most magnificent aurora borealis display last May, I’ve kept a close eye on the sky each evening in the hope that history might repeat itself. Sadly it wasn’t to be this evening but still, the stars were twinkling overhead.
“A cloud appears above your head
A beam of light comes shining down on you Shining down on you The cloud is moving nearer still Aurora borealis comes in view Aurora comes in view”I Ran – A Flock Of Seagulls

What a beautiful sky! The mornings have been bitterly cold too, although people have been wandering around in shorts and Tshirts just because they’re expecting it to be warm later!
Gorgeous! Our clocks went back on the weekend so our nights are darker earlier….boo hiss.
