The Easter holidays have finally arrived and the weather is glorious thus we’ve been out and about enjoying the sunshine. This afternoon we took a drive out to lay flowers on my Dad’s grave for Easter, though it’s a sad place to visit I have to say the graveyard looked gorgeous daubed in daffodils.
Though it was completely unplanned, we then took a family stroll in the sunshine with my Mum and her daft dog. We had a fabulous time throwing a ball back and forth in an attempt to exhaust Polly (Mum’s flatcoat retriever that’s akin to a Duracell bunny), feeding the ducks in the pond, posing for pictures under ‘Echo Bridge’ and after a wonderful walk, we then headed home to enjoy some snacks from the Square. It was a brilliant and rather beautiful day.
Though it’s still early days, things are starting to feel a little more settled and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the past however many months and to wish you all a very Happy Easter.
