Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
Apologies for the late post, things are a bit all over the spot at present – it’s very much one day at a time for us of late…
Whilst the entire country is in chaos with the coronavirus, we’ve been doing our very best to keep things as ‘normal’ as they can be all things considering. The kids have been out for a walk with the dog each day, this gives the dog some exercise and the kids’ time to get some fresh air and more importantly – time out from the house.
Spring has arrived at last; the sun is now shining, the daffodils are in bloom and the air feels much warmer. I really ought to get some garden furniture at some point soon, it might make things a little easier especially during the current lockdown.
I’m all for isolation and social distancing but I’ll tell you what – it doesn’t half make things difficult for those in hospitals, hospices or care homes, even more so for their relatives who feel such immense guilt over being unable to visit and provide their family and friends comfort. My thoughts go out to those of you, that like myself, are in such situations as quite frankly they suck.
I guess we are all this together for the long haul, though I can only hope that exercise is continued to be permitted as otherwise the dog will only get fatter and the kids might just crawl the walls.
Thanks for reading and take care – I hope that you are all washing your hands, staying safe, keeping healthy and happy – if that’s even possible to be in the midst of this madness!
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

The weather has certainly improved, its been so lovely to be able to go in the garden or for a walk. I feel very lucky to have a garden too, I do think it would be harder in a high rise flat with children
What a sweet and lovely dog. Being in lockdown is the first time I’ve thought it would be nice to have a dog to go out and take a walk with. We have been enjoying walks too. It is nice and hopefully the weather will improve, it’s been so cold here. xx
