Welcome to this weeks edition of the #MySundaySnapshot blog series, a recently launched blog-linky which you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
We are officially half way through the half term and the sunshine has finally shown its face. With a little luck the weather will stay on side and we might just make the best of our break. At last, spring is in bloom; the hedgerows are thick with flowers, the smell of freshly cut grass hangs in the air and the idea of having a BBQ and some drinks on the decking doesn’t seem too far out.
I’m certainly a seasonal chick; I’ve already made a start on cleaning and de-cluttering the house, my next plan is to empty out my wardrobes and drawers, I want to start from scratch with bin bags at the ready for charity and trash. Whilst I’m fathing around with fashion, Paul’s meanwhile is keeping it practical and has a long list of ‘DIY to do’.
It’s so much easier to get things done once the clocks have leapt forward by an hour, suddenly the lighter nights arrive and you seem to have so much more time to get things inside and outside of the house done and dusted. I’ve put an order in with our builder for the bay window and I’m hoping that it won’t be too long before we can complete the front our house entirely. I took a look back at my bucket list for the year the other day, I’ve already ticked almost fifteen out of the thirty-odd things which I listed, which given that we are only a third of the way through the year isn’t too bad at all!
Following what felt like the longest winter on record, I’m more than ready for a fresh start. Bring on the spring time, bring on the colour and let’s be having those BBQs!
Thanks for reading myĀ #MySundaySnapshotĀ post, I look forward to catching up and sharing yourĀ #MySundaySnapshotĀ pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.
