Welcome to this weeks rather floral #MySundaySnapshot post. #MySundaySnapshot is a recently launched blog-linky that you are more than welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you fancy taking part.
Spring is in the air, which is about time as I’m done with winter weather! I’ve had it with being stuck indoors – whilst I love my house and the comforts which it contains, I cannot cope with being hostage to the weather.
As I stood, wrapped in a chunky-knit cardigan, watching the children as they played on the park, I noticed that my feet were surrounded by daisies.

As a child I’d sit in the sunshine and pick daisies, which I’d then thread together in a chain. I’d spend literally hours sat, selecting daisies with strong-enough stems to withstand being linked together, I was rather talented at this pointless but pleasurable pastime.
Over the years, I’ve done all sorts of peculiar things to pass the time. These days however, I have such little time, that when I finally do get a moment to myself, I have no idea what to do! Thankfully, my children ensure that I needn’t entertain myself for long!
“You’re better off in the end
pickin’ daisies
who cares? i’ll be your friend
pickin’ daisies
you can always count on me
pickin’ daisies”
Adam Sandler – Pickin’ Daisies

It’s so nice that spring is finally here! Making daisy chains is definitely one of life’s simple pleasures.
