Sitting at the kitchen table with a hot cup of coffee in my hand, watching the rain drops roll down the french doors, the radio began to play a particular song from the past. A smile crept along my face as I instantly recognised the intro, my foot tapping to the beat, I flicked through my photos to find this particular shot snapped whilst out on a wander.
A scene from a serene, spring day walking along the dock of the bay; a perfect picture match to the music.
I’ll be sitting when the evening comes
Watching the ships roll in
Then I watch ’em roll away again
I’m sitting on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide, roll away
I’m sitting on the dock of the bay
Wasting time…”
