Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
I apologise as I haven’t been writing my blog as much as I once did. Things have been busy and if I’m completely honest, I don’t feel much liking sharing the details of my life at present. I’m very aware that my blog is an open platform and whilst I was once comfortable with this, things have changed from a personal perspective and so in order to protect my family I’m opting to keep things a little closer to my chest these days. Don’t fret – I will continue to host and post my weekly #MySundaySnapshot linky, carry out reviews, and write my monthly #LikedandLoved and #LittleLoves posts.
On a positive note, spring is just around the corner and if you’re out and about there are signs of it dotted here, there, and everywhere. The snowdrops are out in their droves and even the daffodils have started to make an appearance…
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

I hope you are ok. I do think where children are involved (or even our partners) it’s not fair to share their stories. So I have often swapped ages and genders so it can never be narrowed down to which child or when. And I rarely talk of my partner. (Though he does get annoyed when all the husbands in my short stories end up dying – ha!).
In other news, I will be away for a few weeks but will return on my return. Currently madly dodging covid to get to Japan later this week! Yip yip
What a lovely spring photo.
It’s totally understandable that you want to share less personal stuff on your blog now. I think most bloggers go through that. When I started out, my kids were 10, 7 and 5 and I shared pretty much everything about them. Now they’re 21, 19 and 16 and I share very little about them.
Snowdrops always fill a garden with joy
You have to do what is right for you and your family. Sending love and hugs.
I have noticed signs of spring too, we have daffodils growing in our garden. x
I’ve not seen many signs of spring myself but I don’t really get out enough. I hope you are okay Rachel, I understanding the difficulty in sharing life experiences sometimes, we all have to keep things close to our chests. As your kid’s get older it’s difficult to know what to write about that won’t come back and bite you or them later. There is no pressure to be an open book, but know that there are people who only know you from your online presence but still care about you x
