#MySundaySnapshot – Windy Weekends 08/52 (2020)

Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.

It’s been a wet, windy and wild half term. Though we’ve enjoyed the downtime, it would have been nice to get out and about without getting blown away.

Whilst out on a fruitless mission to find tile paint (to spruce up my kitchen tiles) I decided to take a detour to snap a few shots of the local area. Although the river in this picture appears to be deceptively calm, let me assure you that the boats were rocking and I myself was battling against the wind to stay stood upright!

#MySundaySnapshot - Windy Weekends 08/52 (2020)

Like most of the UK at present, we are pretty swamped with water which is worrying considering that the weather forecast seems to suggest yet more rain is on the way…

To be honest, I’m sick to the back teeth of the stormy weather. We’ve had almost a month or more of constant chaos (I’ll admit it’s not just been the weather that’s caused bedlam) and I am DONE with listening to the endless rattling, banging and whistling of the wind each night.

Whether it’s Ciara, Dennis or Ellen I couldn’t care less – just give me a break from the bleeding blustery weather and give me some sodding sunshine already!

Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

What a beautiful picture – you would never guess how windy it was! The weather has been horrendous lately. I’m definitely ready for an end to it too.

It’s a lovely photo, but I am with you on the storms. I’ve barely been able to leave the house and I’m fed up of being woken up at night.

It sounds like you’ve had a good half term.
hahaha! We’re on the look out for tile paint too.
What a beautiful scene. The water does look pretty calm but I imagine being near the coast it was so windy. I am ready for the summer now.

What a great scene of the overcast weather. At least, it’s not snowing đŸ™‚

The weather has been utterly awful. We can be done with it now. We haven’t had floods but I have been watching the news and seeing how so many people have suffered and it’s awful for them. That is a lovely photo though.
