Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
February has arrived and the lighter nights are finally on the way, it’s such a relief to see the back end of winter. Spring is literally just around the corner as the snowdrops are out and the daffodils have already started to shoot.
The extended hour or two of light each evening has enabled the kids to get out and enjoy the swings, trampoline, scooters, bikes, and such like. It’s a joy watching them play out in the fresh air rather than being cooped up keeping cosy, mind you it’s still flipping freezing out there!
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

The lighter evenings are so good. We just need it to warm up a bit now!
At least some one is having fun even if it is a tad cold
I love the roses on the swing and the sunset in the background. It has started to get a little lighter which is nice. But I agree, it’s still pretty cold.
We are loving the lighter nights here. It is nice for the kids to get out and enjoy some free time after school. That swing looks fantastic fun. x
That is an adorable shot – your daughter, the sunset, the flowers on the swing, the essence of childhood in the swing and beanie…it all works! Gorgeous!
