It’s fa-fa-freezing outside right now but oh so beautiful, and whilst I’d have loved to have stopped mid-drive to photograph the amazing icicles which currently hang from the hedgerows, I’ve decided to share this stunning snapshot taken during sunrise this morning by Becky, our family friend and ‘super shopkeeper’.
Winter may be dark, dull, and dreary but it’s also beautifully breathtaking, it depends entirely upon your perspective.
Looks like mornin’ in your eyes
But the clock’s held 9:15 for hours
Sunrise, sunrise
Couldn’t tempt us if it tried
‘Cause the afternoon’s already come and gone
Hoo, ooh, ooh, ooh
Hoo, ooh, ooh, ooh
Hoo, ooh, ooh, ooh
To you
Couldn’t find it in your eyes
But I’m sure it’s written all over my face
Surprise, surprise
Never something I could hide
When I see we made it through another day”
Thanks for reading myΒ #MySundaySnapshotΒ post, I look forward to catching up and sharing yourΒ #MySundaySnapshotΒ pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Wow, that really is a beautiful view! I saw a stunning hedge absolutely solid with ice yesterday, but it was impossible to take a photo as it was on a really busy road.
What a gorgeous sunrise, the sky is amazing. We had a local woman stopped by police because she’d pulled over on a country lane to take photos of icicles. Apparently it doesn’t count as an essential journey if you stop to take photos! It is utterly freezing though…brrrr!
Ha it should be essential as itβs appreciating the world which is hard to do in a lockdown !
What a stunning scene. It is has been so cold but so beautiful!
Indeed π
