Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
Half term has finally arrived, though we’re still stuck indoors as Storm Dennis has arrived and is most definitely making his presence known. According to the local media it is currently not advisable to travel, though to be honest, I wasn’t really up for going out or doing much this weekend anyhow!
The weather has been wicked of late, the wind has been so strong that trees, aerials and such-like have been brought down and I’m quite surprised that we have a trampoline still standing in our garden! Whether it’ll survive till the spring I’m not sure…
The amount of rain that has fallen over the past few weeks is shocking, houses in the nearby area are flooding as water levels rise which is so sad for the families involved.
It’s been such a difficult week in so many ways, none of which I can write about at present, none the less I’m quite happy at home, looking out upon the stormy sky whilst staying warm and dry indoors.
Batten down the hatches and be sure to stay warm, dry and safe folks! As if Storm Ciara wasn’t bad enough – Dennis can do one!
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

The weather has been insane. We’ve had a fair amount of snow too. Hope you have a good half term x
Snow?! We’ve had no snow yet…
So sorry to hear about your difficult week. The weather really is horrendous. How awful for those families whose homes are flooded.
Thanks Sarah.
Your photo is so grey I thought your photo wasn’t loading. It wasn’t until I scrolled down a bit that I saw it was the grey sky. The weather is abysmal, isn’t it, I do hope it improves soon. I’m sorry to hear that things are not good at the moment, sending a gentle hug x
Thanks x
Storm Dennis hasn’t been that bad here until tonight. We’ve had wind, rain, thunder and hailstones. We have had some rotten weather over the past few weeks. I am quite happy staying inside too x
Indeed 🙂
