It’s only mid-January yet the lighter nights are already hinting at an appearance. Though I love the winter months when we can snuggle all safe, warm and cosy indoors, I feel drained by the dark, dismal nights. It’s a huge relief to see the golden glow of the sunshine lasting a little longer each evening.
Here’s to lighter nights and a lighter lifestyle overall…

I know exactly how you feel! The longer days are a real mood booster.
It’s so lovely to see that little bit of extra light in the afternoons/ evenings. I hate everything about winter and every year I can’t wait for it to be over!
