Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
I know it’s a pretty stupid thing to say given that we’re in January and it’s midwinter but by eck it’s cold out there! It’s not often that we have our gas fire on (as the control knob seems to randomly break when it gets hot and we’ve constantly having to replace the switch over the years) but tonight was an exception as it was just so cold out!
Whilst I love Christmas, New Year and the festive occasions throughout early winter, I’m not all that keen on January as once the twinkly lights have been taken down it just seems rather miserable, dark, dank, and cold. No wonder people struggle with the January blues!
On that note, I’m off to run myself a hot bubbly bath following which, I plan to wrap up warm and cosy in my winter pyjamas with a hot drink and some winter television.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

I totally agree with you about January! I’ve been feeling a bit miserable this week as it’s so dark, grey and cold.
It is so cold and I can’t stop saying it either. lol At this time of year we have to be kind to ourselves as the weather is so depressing. x
Perfect location to be near the fire, it so grey and depressing outside x #mysundaysnapshot
Exactly – keeping warm and cozy is far nicer
