#MySundaySnapshot – Life In The Lakes 1/52 (2020)

Welcome to the first  #MySundaySnapshot post of 2020!  For those of you that may be new to this blog series, #MySundaySnapshot is a weekly blog-linky (which you are more than welcome to join) that was designed and set up simply to share snapshots. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.

Although one of my goals for 2020 was to take more pictures, I’ve had to let that ride this week as our son has been in surgery – thus we’ve been somewhat preoccupied with his recovery.

Though whilst we were cooped up in the children’s ward, our daughter was out and about having fun with her Grandparents, Auntie, Uncle and cousins in Coniston.

Here’s a picture that was taken by my brother-in-law whilst picnicking by the lake. By all accounts, E had a fabulous time and given that she slept like a log that night, the fresh air must have done her the world of good!

Whilst I don’t wish to go into any details, I am incredibly proud of my little man as he has been so brave over these past few days, he deserves a medal, though a Harry Potter wand seemed to suffice.

With a little luck, it won’t be too long before J is feeling back to his usual self and until then he has plenty of games, toys, and tech to keep him occupied.

Despite it being a bit of a rough start to the new year for our little lad, we had already planned and prepared for this many months ago. It was something that needed doing and given that it seems to have been a success, we are hugely relieved and now able to enjoy 2020.

Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

That must have been a worrying few days for you. I’m glad to hear your son is on the mend and hope he feels completely better soon. It must be reassuring that your daughter has been so well looked after in the meantime. What a beautiful photo.

First of all, that’s a beautiful photo, who wouldn’t want to spend some time in a beautiful place like that breathing in the fresh air even if it was cold.
Secondly, I’m so sorry to hear about J. I hope he’s feeling much better real soon. Kid’s are so brave sometimes aren’t they. xx
