My husband and I took a trip to Ikea earlier in the week, whilst on our way we got caught up in traffic which left us at a standstill for quite some time. I didn’t mind being stuck in the slightest as we were surrounded with the most stunning scenery, including this stunning skyline in which both the sun and the moon were visible.
The fields were smothered in a thick, white frost which set against the pine tree forests certainly felt like winter at it’s finest. Just as I was enjoying the view a fluffy, fat robin came along to entertain us, it was certainly a traffic jam to treasure.
“A winter’s carol, first song of the robin
A winter’s carol, echo through the land
And I can hear it
Ringing out, ringing out from pine to oak”
Tori Amos – A Winter’s Carol
