It doesn’t feel like fourteen years have passed by since we tied the knot and exchanged our vows, yet here we are seven cars, two houses, two dogs, and two kids down the line looking back at pictures and videos from what was a magical and rather amazing wedding day as if it were only a couple of years back…
Though we’d usually celebrate our anniversary by enjoying a meal out somewhere swanky, this year (a bit like last year) is a little different as we are currently living out of our suitcases from the comfort of my Mums house where we are temporarily staying whilst out kitchen undergoes a transformation.
Still, we’ve had fun with the kids and my Mum playing a couple of board games, painting, spending time at the park, watching the recently released Peter Rabbit 2 (cheese-fest warning), and hopefully, we can crack open a bottle or two once the kids hit the hay.
How my husband has put up with me for fourteen years, I’m not entirely sure though I’m sure he’d say the same likewise. It’s been a tough couple of years for us both yet we continue to stand strong and will endeavour to continue wading our way through life’s many obstacles hand in hand, working together as a team.
