Relationships are supposed to be something you enjoy and that make you feel loved. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case, and you can come across multiple signs your relationship is over.
Even though nobody wants that to happen, it’s always a possibility. You could find yourself looking for police divorce lawyers and wanting to get out of the relationship.
While you might know what some of these signs are, you mightn’t know about all of them. Instead, some can be easily overlooked or dismissed. It’s worth diving into three of the more notable of these.
Signs Your Relationship Is Over: 3 Top Signs
1. You Don’t Trust Them
Trust is a vital part of every relationship, and this is something that’s usually earned. You’ll naturally get this done at the start of your relationship, and you’ll trust each other more and more in time. When that trust starts to go away, your relationship could start to fall apart.
If you don’t trust your partner, you wouldn’t believe you can depend on them. You could even start thinking they’re cheating on you. Needless to say, the relationship will be much worse off without any trust. See this as one of the more notable signs your relationship is over.
2. There’s No Physical Intimacy
Intimacy is one of the most essential parts of every relationship. It comes in various forms, but you and your partner will likely engage in them regularly. It’s a way of forming and strengthening your bond with them. When there’s no longer any intimacy, you’re not going to feel close to your partner.
While this could take a little while to notice, it could be a large sign your relationship is over. Take the time to figure out how often you’re intimate with your partner. If it’s not enough, it could mean an end to the relationship is on the horizon.
3. You Can’t Imagine A Future Together
You’ll naturally want your relationship to be long-term. That’s why it’s always natural to imagine a future together. While this dream varies from couple to couple, the core part of it is you’re both still together. This becomes a problem when you can’t imagine a future with them anymore.
If you find yourself in this position, it’s a sign you need to start worrying. While this can often happen during a rough patch, it’s normally a sign you don’t have a future together anymore. Usually, it’ll be one of the first signs you’ll come across, and it’s always worth being aware of.
Signs Your Relationship Is Over: Wrapping Up
You can often find more than a few signs your relationship is over. Some of these are more obvious than others. Despite that, they can be easily dismissed or overlooked. They’re always worth paying attention to, though.
If you notice a few of them, it could be time to call an end to the relationship. While that might be an emotional time, it might be much better off for you in the long-term.

I can relate to all of these apart from the future thing. We were still best friends and I thought we would always be together. I think that was the hardest part, knowing we wouldn’t grow old together.
