I thought I ought to give a rather large shout out to the hubby this week as not only has he provided me with photos for which to share upon this weeks edition of #LivingArrows but he has also put up with some seriously stealthy strops, sibling rivalry and stubborn showdowns. I’m not sure whether there’s something in the water or whether our children are going through ‘a phase’ either way they seem to be damned hard work of late!
One things for sure I couldn’t ask for a better Father for my children, whilst I’m out at work Paul keeps the troops entertained one way or another.…
With only a fortnight to go before both School and Nursery break up for the summer holidays it seems that there is an endless string of dates for the diary all of which I have pencilled into my planner and will try my very best to attend.
There is only so much this Mother can do though and whilst I fully respect the efforts which go into my children’s education I can only wangle so much into my week. It wont be long before I’m without routine and able to go with the flow a little more but until then it’s as if I’m on fast forward riding a unicycle whilst juggling plates.…
Welcome to this weeks edition of #LivingArrows, a weekly post in which I share a couple of snaps of my beautiful children. I call them beautiful children but I will wholly admit that there are moments when I find it rather difficult to call them anything of the sort considering the behaviour that they chose to display from time to time.
Kids will be kids but bleeding hell are they challenging little sods! I swear to god as J gets older he finds more and more buttons to press which will either result in an explosion of anger, upset or sheer frustration from either his sister or us, his parents.…
Welcome to this weeks edition of #LivingArrows, a weekly post in which I share a couple of snaps of my little ones.
With the weather having reached scorchio temperatures over the past few days the kids have been busy gallivanting around gardens, bounding along beaches, paddling in pools and soaking up the sunshine, they have had all kinds of fun out and about.
Both J & E have a bit of a thing for their Grandparents strawberry patch, each and every year without fail our little scamps will race to the bottom of the garden sucking up the majority of the crop before the strawberries can even be washed or chopped!…
Welcome to this weeks edition of #LivingArrows, a weekly post in which I share a snap or two of my little ones.
As you may have seen last week I shared a few pictures of my happy hopper J bouncing around the garden. Following countless arguments and ‘waiting for turns’ I finally caved and bought yet another hopper enabling the children to bounce alongside each other or in other words race.
This isn’t a particularly fantastic shot due to the terrible lighting and lack of eye contact from the kids, never the less it’s an honest picture of parenting. Two children side by side, one may first think ‘united’ but that will never be the case with siblings as it will always end up as a competition, whether that be a race, a tug of war, a battle of wills or a full on argument.…
