Summer has arrived, the sunshine is beaming and though it’s still a little windy outside, the kids are enjoying staying up a little later to enjoy a few extra hours of sunshine whilst they can.
It’s been a busy month for us all; J has been working hard plowing through his year nine exams, he then selected his GCSE options and has spent the past few weeks with his head firmly buried in various exercise books. Thankfully the stress seemed to lift just in time for his birthday celebrations so we were able to get away to Blackpool for a day’s swimming and family fun out and about. Meanwhile, E has been occupied with various trips and school art ambassador activities including a rather wonderful weekend away at a Raku pottery workshop where she had the chance to glaze, fire, and admire the various pots that she’d spent time and a lot of effort producing at her Art Lab lessons.
Half term has thankfully arrived offering us all the chance to ditch the routine, put our feet up, and kick back for a few days before returning to the final slog before the much-anticipated summer holidays.
Thank you for reading this month’s #LivingArrows . I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments on this post.
